DEVENTER, Peter (1930 – 2006) 
Suddenly at Toronto Western Hospital on August 26, 2006.

Beloved husband of Lois. Loving father of Anne (Richard) Lent, Karen (Brian) Welch and Paul, all of Toronto.

Father-in-law of Alyson Deventer and grandfather of Ashley and Michael of Victoria, B.C.

Predeceased by son David.

Peter will be missed by brothers and sisters in Canada, the United States and The Netherlands. He will also be missed by friends, neighbours and business colleagues.

There will be no service or visitation at his request. A celebration of Peter's life will be held in the Mundell Funeral Home reception room, 79 West Street North, Orillia

DEVENTER, LOIS ANNE (nee PAYNE) In her 87th year, Lois left peacefully while being cared for in hospital.

She was predeceased by her husband, Peter and eldest son, David, in 2006.

Lois will be missed by her daughters, Anne (Richard Lent) and Karen (Brian Welch), son, Paul (Yola Janiga) and her beloved grandchildren.

A longtime member of both Mariposa Arts Theatre and The Cellar Singers, memorial donations to either of these organizations will be gratefully accepted, in lieu of flowers, and may be made through the Mundell Funeral Home 

DEVENTER, David Peter
Peacefully, in his 43rd year, at the Victoria General Hospital, Victoria, British Columbia, on March 25, 2006, after a brief but courageous battle with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (Lou Gehrig's Disease).

David was the beloved husband of Alyson (nee MILLAR,) and dearest Daddy of Ashley and Michael.

He was much loved and will always be remembered by his parents, Peter and Lois DEVENTER of Orillia, sisters Anne (Richard) LENT, Karen▼ (Brian) WELCH, brother Paul, all of Toronto, mother and father-in-law John and June MILLAR, and brother-in-law Steve (Amanda) MILLAR of Victoria. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
